Skilled Services

At Home Nursing Services is a State licensed, Medi-Cal certified Home Health Agency licensed by the State of California. The agency is committed to providing a wide range of Pediatric services to clients from newborn to 18 years of age as well as developmentally delayed young adults and adults. In addition to the services our agency provides, we are committed to providing nurses with an opportunity to practice in a home environment that allows one on one time with their client and obtain job satisfaction.

Types of Services Provided:

•   Skilled Nursing Visits - visits that are less than 2 hours provided by a RN, LVN or LPT to teach or provide skilled care
•   Shift Nursing for medically fragile infants, children and adolescents
•   Shift Nursing for developmentally delayed adults and other adult clients needing skilled care
•   School Nursing
•  Teaching of non licensed personnel at group homes
•  Assessment visits

Pediatric Staff:

The agency is continuously recruiting for qualified nurses to allow us to expand our pediatric services. A successful Pediatric Home Care Nurse stands out among his/her peers because of special qualities required of them in being able to effectively work with children. We are committed to recruiting these special nurses and working with them to provide the care at home that makes a difference to a family.

Clinical Rotations:

Because of our commitment to providing quality pediatric services, we have aligned ourselves with both the Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University nursing programs. Since 2004, our agency has been a clinical site for both LVN and RN students pursuing a career in nursing. This clinical observation for the students allows them to witness the scope of practice of a nurse in the home setting and in schools, as well as the interaction between the licensed staff, the parents and the entire team who provide care to our pediatric clients.
